About the “You Belong Here” Infographics Series

Anyone can be affected by hate, and it can be frightening especially if you are a newcomer. Our ‘You Belong Here’ infographic series was created to help the community, especially newcomers, understand what hate is, what to do if you experience it and how we can support one another as a community. It is currently available in 20 languages.

Understanding hate

This infographic is a short guide that explains what hate is, what it looks like and how it affects people in everyday life.

What to do if you experience hate

This infographic provides practical steps you can take if someone targets you with hateful words, actions or behaviour in public spaces or online.

How to report hate and support others

This infographic highlights practical tips for reporting hate and moving from being a bystander (witness) to being an upstander in ways that feel safe for you.
